University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR)
Human Resources Business Partner
UC ANR is a statewide network of University of California researchers and educators dedicated to the creation, development and application of knowledge in agricultural, natural and human resources.
As a member of the Staff Personnel department, I coordinate staff classification, compensation, and recruitment programs for 10+ counties in Northern California. I also consult hiring managers on program processes, and on the interpretation of UC system-wide personnel policies and collective bargaining agreements.
Rite Aid Supply Chain
Assistant Human Resources Manager / Recruitment Manager
I managed the human resource functions for a distribution center (DC) of 379 associates, and served as the Recruitment Manager for floor worker and leadership positions.
As the Recruitment Manager, I led the full-lifecycle of recruitment, forecasted staffing needs, designed sourcing strategies to fill hard-to-fill positions, and executed strategic workforce planning initiatives.
I also assisted with the talent development process and helped create and update human resources policies & procedures that were compliant with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Executive Store Intern / Team Leader in Human Resources
I started as an Executive Store Intern in Human Resources and later transitioned into an Executive Team Leader in Human Resources position.
In each assignment, I supported a mid-sized retail store by providing leadership and policy guidance on all HR related matters, and managing the store operations during opening and closing shifts.
I also stepped in as the backup ETL-Front End during the later portion of my assignment. In this role, I managed customer relations and the operation of the front end of the store.

Mentor Resident Assistant
I played a key role in the transitions that college students experience during their time on campus and in the residence halls. Much of my time was spent fostering a welcoming and safe living environment, responding to highly sensitive and urgent incidents, and mentoring my residents. However, I also had the opportunity to coach new resident assistants on both the development of their leadership skills and their understanding of university policies and procedures.
Career Development Consultation
I have assisted many individuals with revamping their personal branding materials and helping kick start their career searches. My signature services include redesigning resumes, developing strategic networking and application plans, and career exploration. Consulting others on their careers is my way of giving back to people in need and helping passionate people land their next big adventure.
